DPWT U.S. Open 2026 — Golf Picks, Tips & Analysis

Course

Shinnecock Hills Golf Club

Location

Southampton, NY

Date

18 June 2026

2026-06-18

America/New_York

Course Overview

The 2026 US Open returns to Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York — one of the most celebrated venues in American golf, founded in 1891 as one of the five founding clubs of the USGA, and host of the very first US Open in 1895. The layout plays to approximately 7,000 yards at par 70 across the exposed terrain of eastern Long Island, with the course highly susceptible to wind from the nearby Atlantic Ocean. Shinnecock Hills previously hosted US Opens in 1986, 1995, 2004, and 2018.

The links-influenced design features open, windswept fescue-lined fairways, firm and fast greens, and strategic bunkering. The USGA’s major championship setup typically prioritises narrow scoring corridors and firm conditions.

What to Look For

Shinnecock Hills is a wind player’s course — the ability to flight the ball low and control trajectory in challenging conditions is crucial. Players who perform well in Open Championship conditions at links-style venues often transfer those skills effectively here. Past US Open champions at Shinnecock include Corey Pavin, Retief Goosen, and Dustin Johnson.

Tips Coming: Full selections and analysis, from our chief analyst MJ, will be published Wednesday 17 June 2026 approx 3pm AEST ahead of the event tee-off.

STAKING: At PGT, we apply a strict and consistent staking strategy to every tip we publish. All published results on our site are calculated on the basis of one (1) unit per tip, unless otherwise stated. The actual dollar value of a unit (if any) is determined by each individual — it may be for a no-value bet with a friend, or $5 or $50. This methodology is for record-keeping and educational purposes only and is not a recommendation to bet or to bet in any particular way.
Competitor Tip Type Odds Units Result Rationale
Tyrrell Hatton Win 50/1(+5000) 1.00 LOSS

Winner of the recent LIV event in Andalucia with -11 over Jon Rahm (-9) with rounds of -4, -2, -4, -1 making it his 2nd win on the LIV tour.

  • 44th x Fairways hit @ 55.36%
  • 21st x birdies @ 4.75 with 152
  • 33rd x scrambling @ 61.31% (103/168 par or better)
  • 17th x Greens in regulation @ 70.83% (408/576)
  • 22nd x Putting @ 1.60 (919 GIR)
  • 15TH X Driving distance @ 305 yards avg
  • 24/25 cuts made in last 25 events for 96% strike rate

A win over Rahm would be the confidence shot the Englishman was looking for but when it comes to Majors although not winning his recent-

  • 3rd x PGA Masters @ Augusta with rounds of 74, 66, 72, 68 for -10

Showed that TH has always been able to mix it up with the elite players in the game, with Augusta being a tricky course Hatton did well after a slow start to-

  • +3.84 strokes gained total
  • 4/4 strokes gained metric all positive SG

What will suit is the links styled course @ Shinnecock with rolling fairways and elevated greens with short back drops very similar to what the English & Scotsman grow up on from early teens.

TH was a good 4th @ US Open last year to JJ Spaun with his +3.35 strokes gained @ Quail Hollow GC along with his last 4 events showing us-

  • 13/16 x SG metrics in +strokes gained

TH has positive strokes gained in SG: ARG, SG: APG & ¾ events in +SG: PUT, with tricky greens we are looking backwards with players having to find greens, the putting and with a 5 inch rough keeping it on the fairways will help with shot 2, this course is not about distance off the tee.

Always in the thick of it at Majors and after being cut @ the PGA Championships TH bounced back with a strong win in Spain his mental approach will be positive & back to a links style course with strong winds coming from both directions should see TH challenge around $50 on betfair.

He has remained firm in markets opening around $46 on betfair, fair value considering you have Aberg around $26.

Patrick Reed Win 55/1(+5500) 1.00 LOSS

What we sent out when PR was the Late Mail for the PGA Championships @ $120-

PR on day 1 was cruising with 0 bogeys, I personally thought on day 2 he showed grit, why we like him to muster a challenge on day 3 & 4 is his sweet iron play-

  • 100th x SG: Off the Tee losing -0.285 strokes
  • 2nd x SG: Approach to Green @ +3.666 strokes gained
  • 69th x SG: Around the Green @ +0.253
  • 53rd x SG: Putting @ +0.629
  • T8 x SG: Total @ +4.263
  • T130 x Driving Accuracy @ 42.86% (6/14)

PR was able to still card a good 68 (-2) despite finding only 40% of fairways off the tee.

Why?

T1 x Greens in Regulation @ 88.89% (16/18)

Day 2 he still found 50% of greens but he was off so to only give away 3 shots (bogey on holes 6, 15 & 16), I say to only give away just look @ JJ Spaun, could not recover, nor DeChambeau and company, there were too many to list.

If PR can keep it on the fairway and not find rough after rough, he has that sweet touch with iron & wedges to bring his game into it.

He was very tradesman like today and I reckon he may have said “keep it together today & not let the frustration take over”.

He is playing very good golf, and the current EVEN par means he starts from a very neutral position in T22.

Call it nostalgic but I have watched all 36 holes over days 1 & 2 and if PR can get excited on the front nine & because he is around $120 on betfair, it reminds me of when we went close in a Major last year with him as the late mail ($100 off the top of my head).

Worth 1 unit to find out.

For Shinnecock

PR last 2 events on PGA Tour have been at the last 2 Majors with good results in both-

  • T10 @ PGA Championships with rounds of 68. 72, 67, 70 for -3
  • T12 @ PGA Masters with rounds of 69, 69, 72, 73 for -5

It will be tough going not only on the course over 4 days but the weather that history shows us always arrives to make it even harder.

Timing is everything in golf and we know PR will be in this with very good wedge & iron play; his putter will need to co-operate & he has been in +strokes gained in all his last 7 events.

Already a Major winner (US Masters in 2018) held @ Augusta he will be very keen to make it 2, This week PH has been quiet in markets & after opening around $48 on betfair he has found a firm home around $55, I would suggest pushing to $60 to $65 & see if you can get matched.

Collin Morikawa Win 55/1(+5500) 1.00 LOSS

All eyes on CR this week & after highlighting in many interviews how uncomfortable his back felt @ PGA Championships which was in May he took 4 weeks off and we did not see him until last week’s RBC Canadian Open.

  • 28th x SG: OTT @ +1.434
  • 47th x SG: APG @ +0.518
  • 44th x SG: ARG @ +0.156
  • 20th x SG: PUT @ +2.879
  • T29 x SG: Total @ +4.988
  • T33 x Driving Accuracy @ 64.29% (36/56)
  • T44 X Greens in Regulation @ 68.06% (49/72)

After watching many highlights of CR in Canada, they were mostly shots with irons but a fair few were around 170 to 200 yards, and he looked free in his swing and was not hobbling around the course on day 4 which was the case in previous events.

Hopefully his back injury is sorted because he is one of the game’s better ball strikers-

2026 PGA stats-

  • 11th x SG: Total
  • 7th x SG: T2G
  • 35th x SG: OTT
  • 2nd x SG: APG
  • 46th x SG: ARG
  • 112th x SG: PUT
  • 12th x Driving accuracy @ 66.35%
  • 12th x Greens in regulation @ 69.59%
  • 9/11 cuts made for 81.8%

We are not too concerned with his overall PGA putting stats as in his last 8 events he has been in positive strokes gained in 6.

Already a winner in 2026 @ PGA AT & T Pebble Beach which was also around a tricky coastal course (Pebble Beach links & Spyglass Hill) after cementing the vent with his day 3, 62, despite winning by 1 stroke he held all challengers at bay due to his brilliant wedge & iron play.

Already a winner of 2 x Majors (Open Championship in 2021 & PGA Championships in 2020) he will be looking to add #3 this weekend, if we see the free play like we did last weekend in Canada the current $55 on betfair looks value.

A quick start would be nice to see but he has been firming in markets.

Wyndham Clark Win 55/1(+5500) 1.00 WIN

WC would be one of the hottest in form players right now, after coming from 8 shots off the leaders he secured his win-

  • 1st x PGA CJ Cup Byron Nelson with rounds of 66, 63, 65, 60 for -30

He got under our guard @ TPC Craig ranch, and we had tipped him in 2026, but he just could not put 4 days of solid golf together, his stats were uber impressive @ TPC-

PGA CJ Cup

  • 6th x SG: OTT @ +4.114
  • 11th x SG: APG @ +4.543
  • 57th x SG: ARG losing -1.019 strokes
  • 1st x SG: Putting @ +12.573
  • 1st x SG: Total @ +20.210
  • T40 x Driving Accuracy @ 64.29% (36/56)
  • T7 x Greens in Regulation @ 79.17% (57/72)
  • T2 x Scrambling @ 86.67% (13/15)

That victory he put everything together, but we did highlight in previous events his putter was his weakest part of his game, he had been in +SG in putting in the 3 events before the Win and including the win he has now had 6 straight events in positive putting.

As WC was in the final group last week in Canada on Sunday I was interested in seeing had he finished his recent good run, he struggled early before finding a few greens until his errant tee shot on 15, I think it was, where he hit the greenkeepers shed which was way left of the fairway.

Unbelievably he ended up making a par on that hole.

With his last 6 events now proving that his around green play & putting is on fire he just needs to be mindful of his driving, he has now been in +SG OTT in 3 of those 6 but in Canada WC was still holding his own from the tee box-

  • 38th x SG: OTT @ +0.571

Of course, his strength still shone brightly around the greens with-

  • 1st x SG: Around the Green @ +5.137

His best in Canada was on Day 3 with an impressive 63 (-7) but unlike his recent win if you are going to have an impressive run it needs to be on day 4 which the winner Bud Cauley demonstrated.

No stranger to a Major Win he did win the US Open in 2023 when held @ LA Country Club on the North course he has had a more consistent 2026 than his 2025-

  • 1st x par 3 scoring amongst all PGA players in 2026

He is consistent making 12/15 cuts in 2026 for 80% strike rate

Coming into this event red hot and leaning on his putter he opened around $48 & I have seen as much as $65 on betfair only yesterday until he has now settled around $55, I would suggest trying to get matched well above $65.

Chris Gotterup Win 60/1(+6000) 1.00 LOSS

We have been on CG a few times in 2026, and he delivered when winning but I love watching his low driving shots.

  • 1st x PGA WM Phoenix Open with rounds of 63, 71, 70, 64 for -16

Often known more for his driving & strong Off the tee play what may surprise most is that in his last 9 events-

  • +strokes gained in 9/9 PGA events in putting

We saw in his 1st win of 2026 @ PGA Sony Open that he made incredible ground on the field on day 4 with-

  • 5th x SG: PUT on day 4 with +2.834

Again, we have seen an evolving CG & even going as far back as Hawaii CG was slick around the greens-

  • 5th x SG: Around the Green @ +3.553
  • 7th x SG: Putting @ +5.089

In the 2 wins in 2026 & other T10 (4) & T25 (9) this is all from only 14 events he really is focusing on areas of his game that hold back potential wins, around greens and sinking putts will be of great value around Shinnecock and he is trending very well.

He has been good in both 2 Majors so far in 2026-

  • T10 @ PGA Championships
  • T25 @ PGA Masters

I was pleasantly surprised by his price around $60 on betfair after opening @ $50, most analysts talk about his tee to green play, but it is his improvement around the greens that has also bolstered his overall strokes gained total.

Another player you can see if you could get matched +$70, most punters & analysts are concentrating on the top 5 in betting presently, that means there is opportunity for higher odds.

CG looking for his 1st Major.

Justin Thomas Win 65/1(+6500) 1.00 LOSS

We kept coming back to JT despite not delivering for PGT when selected as a Late Mail at the last Major @ PGA Championships in Mid-May, he gave it a nudge for-

  • 4th x PGA Championships with rounds of 69, 69, 72, 65 for -5

His final day 4 saw him match +5.76 strokes gained as winner Aaron Rai, Rai showed an anomaly in his putting which saw him sink some incredible putts.

Why JT this weekend?

Some of what we sent out for the PGA Championships Late mail-

JT was our late mail last week & we sent out a length Analysis why-

  • 30th x SG: Off the Tee @ +0.552
  • 25th x SG: Approach to Green @ +1.339
  • 11th x SG: Around the Green @ +2.223
  • 18th x SG: Putting @ +2.872
  • T6 x SG: Total @ +6.986
  • T46 x Driving Accuracy @ 59.52% (25/42)
  • T11 x Driving Distance @ 318.00 yds
  • T11 x Greens in Regulation @ 70.37% (38/54)
  • T1 x Sand Saves @ 100.00% (5/5)
  • T6 x Scrambling @ 75.00% (12/16)
  • T3 x Birdies @ 16
  • T56 x Pars @ 31
  • T21 x Bogeys @ 7

After a considerably safe day 1 JT had +3.53 strokes gained total & his best strokes gained metric was +1.20 strokes gained Off the Tee along with +1.11 SG on Approach, across all metrics he was in positive territory.

Day 2 he had his first metric in negative numbers when losing -0.68 strokes on approach he did however prove slick with the long stick picking up +1.84 strokes gained with the putter; he has been safe in tee to green over the combined 36 holes until day 3.

Many players made moves & perhaps peaking too soon on day 3, I am always wary of a player carding a 63 (-8) or 64 (-7), we saw it with our own PGT pick in Rickie Fowler who on a slow day 2 for most carded a good 63.

After JT had a mixed day 3 with 6 birdies + 4 bogeys but he wrote his first mistake a bogey on the 3rd hole but then bounced back with 5 x birdies from holes 4 to 12 then the shot into the water on the 14th hole just derailed his good previous 5 x birdies, it rattled him that much he had bogeys on holes 16 & 18.

JT is not usual that bad off the tee and the shot into the water on 14 was very poor if comparing his own high standards, it was penalised & I have watched the shot 10 times now, I doubt it reoccurs & JT has yet to really shine over 54 holes & sits a creditable T6 @ -9 with rounds of 67, 68, 69 & he is very capable of a good push on day 4 & 3 of his last 4 events he did card 68 (Valspar), 66 (RBC heritage), 69 (Cadillac).

For this week @ PGA-

JT went out in the earlier wave on day 2 where it was very cold, much windier + greens had not quickened until 4 to 5 hours later.

Highlighted are his better stats that should see him surge on day 3-

Day 1-

  • T8 x Driving Accuracy @ 78.57% (11/14)
  • T19 x Greens in Regulation @ 72.22% (13/18)
  • 12th x SG: Putting @ +2.547 strokes gained

Day 2-

  • T64 x Driving Accuracy @ 57.14% (8/14)
  • T107 x Greens in Regulation @ 55.56% (10/18)
  • 14th x SG: Approach to Green @ +2.487 strokes gained

Like most English players he cut his teeth very early playing on famous links courses in Europe; after winning 2 Majors (PGA Championship in 2022 & 2017) he looks ready for a 3rd.

9/10 cuts made in 2026 for a strong 90% gives JT a huge show to be there on day 4 when it all matters, it has been a slow but steady recovery from surgery & after opening around $40 in early markets (3 months ago) we have seen since Monday AEST around $50 on betfair & has now met stronger support & firm @ $65.

I would suggest trying for $70 to $75, it is possible as the focus seems to be on the first 5 in the market. He is knocking on the door.

Shane Lowry Win 85/1(+8500) 1.00 LOSS

It seems strange selecting the Irishman after seeing him find the water in at least 3 events so far in 2026, his biggest meltdown was when our own Nacho Elvira got up to win when it seemed Lowry was home & hosed.

Why SL comes into calculations is he does thrive playing his best golf on links styled courses.

2026 PGA stats-

  • 24th x SG: Total
  • 32nd x SG: T2G
  • 50th x SG: OTT
  • 29th x SG: APG
  • 95th x SG: ARG
  • 39th x SG: PUT
  • 32nd x Driving accuracy @ 62.42%
  • 57th x Greens in regulation @ 66.92%
  • 10/13 cuts made for 76.9%

Despite finding the water in at least 3 events I have witnessed with my own eyes SL has been very good on difficult courses with-

  • 3rd x DPWT India
  • T8 x PGA AT & T Pebble Beach
  • T23 @ PGA Championships
  • T22 @ PGA Memorial

The Irishman did win his 1st & only Major @ OPEN Championships held @ Royal Portrush, that course is one of the more demanding Links courses in the world, his last 4 events he has been good on approach, around the greens and has been sinking more putts, last week in Canada he finished T29 but to my eye he seemed to be practicing shots for this weekend, he never really pushed the envelope yet he was better than okay with-

2026 RBC Canadian Open

  • 24th x SG: OTT @ +1.918
  • 10th x SG: APG @ +3.981
  • 23rd x SG: ARG @ +1.347
  • 63rd x SG: PUT losing -2.259 strokes
  • T29 x SG: Total @ +4.988
  • T7 x Driving Accuracy @ 73.21% (41/56)
  • T58 x Greens in Regulation @ 65.28% (47/72)

Another player we are not greatly concerned with his most recent putting stats as-

  • 15 of his last 25 in +SG: PUT & playing all 72 holes improves to 19/25

What will be of any concern is him NOT finding the water, in all of the 3 events he has found the water it is when he chooses as an example a 7 instead of 8 and tries to shortcut his approach.

  • 7 of his last 9 events all in +SG: APG

After his 6th in last years US Open to JJ Spaun SL will be trying his best which is good enough, may will say that over his career he may have only 6 career wins (2 x PGA & 4 DPWT) but his best is good enough & after opening around $70 on betfair he is slightly drifting to $85 which I would consider unders as we have his more realistic price @ $100.

He must tick all strokes gained boxes this week but he is known as a good ball striker.

Cameron Smith Win 110/1(+11000) 1.00 LOSS

After changing from swing coach, Grant Field to Claude Harmon (Harmon is the son of Butch Harmon) who was Tiger Woods coach, we saw the improvement at CS most recent result-

  • T7 @ PGA Championships with rounds of 69, 71, 68, 68 for -4

After struggling with mostly his approach game we saw CS-

  • 78th x SG: OTT losing -2.995 strokes
  • 5th x SG: APG +5.358
  • 14th x SG: ARG @ +2.619
  • 14th x SG: PUT @ +4.500
  • T7 x SG: Total @ +9.482
  • T75 x Driving Accuracy @ 41.07% (23/56)
  • T31 x Greens in Regulation @ 68.06% (49/72)

His Iron play has also improved in the 2 events after on LIV tour, he will need to concentrate on finding fairways around Shinnecock if he wants to be in a challenging position with 18 holes to go.

2026 LIV

  • 54th x Fairways hit @ 51.19% (258/504)
  • 9th x birdies @ 4.44 with 160
  • 20th x scrambling @ 63.96% (142/222 par or better)
  • 48th x Greens in regulation @ 65.74% (426/648)
  • 1st x Putting @ 1.55 (993 GIR)
  • 36TH X Driving distance @ 294.5 yards avg
  • 19/25 cuts made in last 25 events for 76% strike rate

The Aussie did win his 1st & only Major @ OPEN Championship in 2022 @ St Andrews which is one of the best top 5 links styled courses in the world.

We know he can putt so if he can improve his driving off the tee and not give back (losing) 2 strokes he will look to set up the 2nd & 3rd shot he can go to his bread & butter (reliable) around greens play and sink a few more birdies with his #1 go to his putter.

As much as $150 was available on betfair as of Monday, CS has tightened up as punters look for value, I wish I had jumped on 2 days ago as mostly only $110 is available on betfair, try to get matched above $140.

All eyes will be on his tee box play, if he gets that right he will contend like we saw @ PGA Championships.

Adam Scott Win 120/1(+12000) 1.00 LOSS

We were on AS recently at the PGA Memorial @ $80, this is what we sent out for the event-

PGA Memorial

The Aussie is having his best run on tour in a long while.

AS was selected by PGT for the PGA Truist in early May @ $48, his game is going just as well and we can grab near double this week, AS is currently in 2nd in strokes gained on Approach, that will see him figure high on the leaderboard this week.

2026 PGA stats-

  • 19th x SG: Total
  • 10th x SG: Tee to Green
  • 44th x SG: Off the Tee
  • Driving Accuracy
  • Greens in Regulation
  • 2nd x SG: Approach the Green
  • 86th x SG: Around the Green
  • 112th x SG: Putting
  • 10/11 Cuts made for 91% strike rate

What we saw in Scott before the PGA Truist.

PGA Truist

His current overall ranking of 95th amongst all PGA players is deceiving, last week @ the Cadillac Champs he was on fire on day 4 with 8 x birdies for his round of 64.

Day 3 he shot a round of 66 & despite his slow start to that event (76, 71) he has showed us glimpses of his old self.

In putting for that event he was a high 4th on day 4 after losing strokes on day 1 & 2-

  • 4th x SG: PUT @ +2.075 strokes gained
  • 1st x SG: Total @ +5.11

I think AS can keep the momentum going into this week, around this course in the last 3 years has seen finishes of T5, T29, T18 & he usually goes around most events @ $60.

PGA Memorial

The Aussie should be flying the flag proudly this week and in the last 5 editions of this event he has been thereabouts but to be fair he is playing some very good golf in 2026.

  • T31 x 2025
  • DNP x 2024
  • T9 x 2023
  • T67 x 2022
  • T16 x 2021

As we have seen from AS in recent events he has run hot with his putter despite this is his only SG metric, he is negative of late.

Before being cut @ PGA Championships, he has made the cut in 18 straight events and he is only on average -0.40 losing shots with his putter, we have seen with our own eyes the runs he has gone on @ PGA Cadillac, PGA Arnold Palmer & PGA Genesis Invitational.

We like him more for this than the upcoming Majors in USA then over the pond and around $80 on betfair after opening around $65. The major sticking point for many punters & analysts it seems is Scott has not won for 6 years (2020 PGA Genesis Invitational).

The $80 seems value for a player who drives it well, is currently 2nd on approach & around the greens play is in positive strokes, I will try and get matched closer to $100 on betfair to see if anyone is happy to take me on.

US Open

Firstly, AS has made 11 of 12 cuts & since the PGA Memorial he has had a nice little freshen up of 10 days after bypassing the RBC Canadian Open last week & it seems fitting that this will be his 100th consecutive Major, very impressive which started @ 2001 OPEN Championship, he will have a bit longer to go to break the record which Jack Nicklaus played in 146 consecutive majors.

No one could argue that AS is in some of his career best form of late, but a win would be the cherry on top seeing this is his 100th.

What we need to see from AS is converting his good approach play into birdies around the greens, he sits in 23rd in Bogey avoidance which scoring pars around Shinnacock will be greatly valued & we have been following him religiously.

Time to get paid & like Cam Smith there was plenty of $160-$170 available on betfair on Monday, We will accept the current $120 on betfair bit will try & press the matter and look @ getting matched back closer to $150, to be fair we did send him out @ $80 for the Memorial so above +$100 is appropriate really.

Harris English Win 130/1(+13000) 1.00 LOSS

This is what we sent out for Harris @ PGA Memorial, his stats really are trending so well-

HE is our gut feel player this week, his game has just been so strong of late.

2026 PGA stats-

  • 30th x SG: Total
  • 68th x SG: Tee to Green
  • 38th x SG: Off the Tee
  • 29th x Driving Accuracy @ 62.77%
  • 62nd x Greens in Regulation @ 66.56%
  • 115th x SG: Approach the Green
  • 80th x SG: Around the Green
  • 18th x SG: Putting
  • 12/13 Cuts made for 92.3% strike rate

**Some of what we sent out for the PGA Truist @ $65

He is making you money in T25 markets, but his overall game has seen improvements-

  • 32nd x SG: Total
  • 72nd x SG: T2G
  • 30th x SG: OTT
  • 34th x Driving accuracy @ 62.16%
  • 122nd x SG: APG
  • 59th x GIR @ 66.53%
  • 81st x SG: ARG
  • 16th x SG: PUT

Talking about HE recent results you only have to look up all his results in 2026 and they have been the most consistent of any year and “I watched a recent interview with Dan Rapaport in what was very relaxed interview as HE explains he is working on being consistent and he thinks he is doing a splendid job of that & he highlights low scores will come from that”.

The current 2025 team Won.

Highly entertaining but it shows the human element of golf.

Back to English his best result around Muirfield-

  • T12 x 2025

It is however his consistent efforts in all strokes gained metrics that really impresses-

  • 78 of his last 100 measured SG metric rounds in + SG

To sit anywhere near 80% is outstanding and if you look at Scheffler & Rory they are players who sit above 80%, that is a lot of golf & to be fair to HE, of the 22 rounds where he was in strokes lost they are between -0.50 to -0.75 with his worse being -3.72 strokes lost on approach @ PGA The Players, he was CUT.

HE was one of the better performances that went pretty much unnoticed @ PGA Championship, but he went about his business for T18 he also gave us a peek into how close he went for his T4 @ RBC Heritage.

US Open

As advised his stats are off the chart in putting of late so if he can get his wedges & irons to fire he can lean on the flat stick for picking up opportunities more so than others who struggle once on the greens (except the odd player running hot-the anomaly player).

Although he is yet to taste success in a Major, he has gone close with a few 2nds in the recent 2025 OPEN championships & T2 2025 PGA Championships.

He tends to thrive more on the tougher courses like Quail Hollow, Royal Portrush, Harbor Town links & Aronimink etc & his form in 2026 & confirming what I listened to in the interview with Dan Rapaport that English wanted to be more consistent in 2026, his results are confirmation of this and he has had +SG Total in 22 of his last 25 events, that is 14 of 15 just in 2026.

  • 10th x Birdie or better percentage @ 24.79%

After winning 5 x PGA events & gone close in Majors it would be of no surprise if he grits this out for his 1st Win, well deserved if he can & after opening around $100 in early pre markets we can now get around $130 on betfair & as much as $160 was available this week.

We think $130 to $150 is fair.

Jacob Bridgeman Win 160/1(+16000) 1.00 LOSS

Of late his strength was his putting, that left JB in 3 of his last 4 events & he lost strokes @ PGA Championship when cut, ordinary @ PGA Truist & again @ PGA Memorial & we selected JB in the Memorial @ $180 where he lost just over 2 shots in putting.

PGA Memorial

  • 12th x SG: OTT @ +1.750
  • 31st x SG: APG @ +0.067
  • T30 x SG: ARG losing -0.180 strokes
  • 41st x SG: PUT losing -2.192 strokes
  • T34 x SG: Total losing -0.555 strokes
  • T9 x Driving Accuracy @ 69.64% (39/56)
  • T13 x Greens in Regulation @ 65.28% (47/72)

Even his usually good scrambling deserted him with less than 50% (12/25)

This is what we sent out for the Memorial

We selected JB for the PGA RBC Heritage @ $65 & he finished a poor T33 IMO.

His last 2 events @ PGA Truist & PGA Championships (CUT) he lost strokes in putting which is important because his previous-

  • 10 of 11 events saw positive strokes gained in putting

That would have been a perfect 100% as @ PGA MASTERS he lost -0.47 strokes.

I think with one of his busiest active years so far in 2026, something had to give, after an early mark @ PGA Championships he has near 3 weeks to get back doing what he is so good at, putting practice.

2026 PGA stats-

  • 16th x SG: Total
  • 69th x SG: Tee to Green
  • 73rd x SG: Off the Tee
  • 73rd x Driving Accuracy @ 59.63%
  • 41st x Greens in Regulation @ 67.78%
  • 48th x SG: Approach the Green
  • 116th x SG: Around the Green
  • 2nd x SG: Putting
  • 12/13 Cuts made for 92.30%

He opened his 2026 account with very good showings despite his poor stats overall in many of the strokes gained metrics-

When we selected him for the RBC Heritage this is where he was ranked in-

  • 126th x SG: T2G
  • 126th x SG: OTT
  • 124th x SG: APG

A quick calculation sees him improve dramatically, we already know his usual consistency is with his flat stick, most of the metrics have just improved.

US Open

His #1 weapon was his putting & what we saw in Canada was a nice steady return where he was-

RBC Canadian Open

  • 18th x SG: Putting @ +3.266

JB also improved back to 70% greens in regulation & was 1st in sand saves (3.3 @ 100%) so if he can take that bounce back to his #1 weapon & we are also have a strengthened belief as he did win his only PGA event @ 2026 Genesis that had those trick Poa annua greens, very tough for most to figure out.

Is a Major beyond him? Possibly not but where most players will struggle around these greens @ Shinnacock if his game is on like we witnessed again in Canada it would not be of a shock despite his only best result in a major was a T41 @ 2026 US Masters, he has only played in 4 to date. JB also still sits high in-

  • 10th x Par 4 scoring @ 3.97 strokes (2432 strokes/612 holes)

There is 7 x par 4 holes around Shinnacock.

JB has been a notable drifter from $120 on betfair to the now $160 available, the question remains will his putter co-operate for a 2 week in a row, it did for 9/10 events before the hiccup @ Truist but I would suggest +$200 is a fair value considering we have more questions left on if his form will stick.

We like English much better not only rated by odds but his stats are on point & has been by far more consistent!

I keep reminding myself that this week to look at stats backwards like Putting, around greens & approach not the forward method of off the tee, approach etc.

Dustin Johnson Win 250/1(+25000) 1.00 LOSS

We had 1st looked at DJs odds 2 weeks ago and there was $500 available on betfair, last week there was $400 & as of Monday there is now only $250 on betfair which comes of no real surprise as he is a previous winner of a US Open (2016 @ Oakmont) somewhat similar to this weekend and his 2020 Masters win @ Augusta.

That win @ Augusta in 2020 was by a whopping 5 strokes (-20) & he has always been one of the more accomplished US golfers with-

  • 22 x PGA wins
  • 2 x DPWT wins
  • 3 x LIV tour wins

I watched the LIV events from both Korea & the latest, Spain where he had 2 strong results back-to-back-

  • T5 @ LIV Andalucia
  • 4th @ LIV Korea

Why I mention those events & not because they are the current results, but his game was not trending as well, sure he had the odd T20 & 1 x T10, but his game looked slightly off but in 2026 in all LIV events he has made all 11 cuts (100%).

  • 11 straight events on LIV with +SG: Putting

In our opinion we have weighted putting and around greens as the priority stat this weekend and on LIV in 2026 he has been good with-

  • 35th x Fairways hit @ 56.94% (287/504)
  • 6th x birdies @ 4.61 with 166
  • 19th x scrambling @ 64.11% (134/209 par or better)
  • 38th x Greens in regulation @ 67.75% (439/648)
  • 2nd x Putting @ 1.54 (996 GIR)
  • 13th x Driving distance @ 305 yards avg
  • 11/11 cuts made in 2026 for 1006% strike rate

He is a very proven veteran & if he does not give away too much before arriving on the greens where his game will thrive he can be in this for a long way. DJ made it in as player 99 in our PGT database which we measure 4 metrics that make up the SG: Total (5th) but all he needs to do is replicate his last 2 results from LIV.

His stats are better than most LIV players & if you compare him to Hatton or Niemann from LIV he is good value, it’s a shame about not getting the bigger odds. Always try and be cheeky & get matched for much more than what we send out so I will try +$400 then drop down to $350 and so on until we get to his current price of $250 on betfair.

Brian Harman Win 280/1(+28000) 1.00 LOSS

The lefty has not only frustrated us but himself and has let it show at recent events as he has left so many birdies out there, yet he still has been in +SG in putting in 6 of his last 7 events. If will need to convert more this weekend.

We did send out BH for the PGA Truist at juicy odds of $330.

From PGA Truist

Last week though @ Cadillac he started with the group posting a 68 & 70 & he went bogey free on day 1 with 4 x bridies, day 2 just the solo bogey on 11 before his frustration showed carding 4 bogeys & 2 birdies on day 3 for a 74 (+2) his event was over though.

On day 4 as he obviously could not get out of his own head, other than his eagle on the 8th hole, a par 5 he did have some luck as he had 2 holes where the ball got caught in the rough, not so luck on the 18th when his luck was out and the same luck that had kept his ball just in the rough rolled down the bank into the water, it happens, even Adam Scott on the 18th hit a shot that was going way out of bounds, hit a tree and bounced back “like God had placed it carefully back on the fairway” to round out his stellar day.

I just had to include BH as he has been up and down in a fair few events of late, he just needs to convert more days than 2 into his weekend to be alive chance.

Day 1 & 2 from the Cadillac-

  • 40th x SG: OTT losing -0.033 strokes
  • 26th x SG: APG @ +0.651
  • 19th x SG: ARG @ +0.803
  • 9th x SG: PUT @ +2.219
  • T6 x SG: Total @ +3.639
  • T4 x Greens in Regulation @ 83.33% (15/18)
  • T1 x Sand Saves @ 100.00% (3/3)
  • T1x Scrambling @ 100.00% (3/3)

And

  • 34th x SG: OTT losing -0.033 strokes
  • 40th x SG: APG losing -0.143
  • 15th x SG: ARG @ +0.950
  • 34th x SG: PUT @ +0.254
  • T19 x SG: Total @ +1.028
  • T23 x Greens in Regulation @ 72.22% (13/18)
  • T27 x Sand Saves @ 50.00% (1/2)
  • T8 x Scrambling @ 80.00% (4/5)

As advised on days 3 & 4 it was like “Where did that Brian go” but to say it clearly, he was not terrible on day 3 or 4 he just did not keep on pace.

We feel as though there is a corner to turn very shortly, and he is playing solid golf, the 9 made cuts from 11 events proves this, there are many PGA players that have a poor 50% SR when it comes to making cuts, BH has been there when it matters like @ PGA AT & T Pebble Beach (T19) & PGA The Players (T11) & to be fair to him he has gone 8 straight events in the money, he is a proven money maker if backing him in T25 & T40 markets.

US Open

BH has won a major, the 2023 OPEN Championship (amen we were on) & it was @ Royal Liverpool a notorious links course where players had brave the elements in cold, windy & rain coming from all directions, BH won with -13 (by 6 shots) & I can still recall members asking should they cash out???

I was FIRM & said why? He was @ -10 after 2 days with 67 & 65, sometimes you must roll the dice, seriously we are very restrained but sometimes you get lucky with a leader & it is usually around about this time of the year that the lefty starts to figure in the results.

Maybe the cut @ Memorial is enough to shake him up as he has been cut previously & bounced back well in recent times with a T19 @ AT & T Pebble Beach after being cut @ WM Phoenix & also was cut @ RSM Classic then bounced back for a 16th @ HERO Challenge.

We have to have faith & we need to see BH start well, his approach game on point (10 of 12 events in +SG), once on greens his game is solid with 6 of his last 9 in +SG, 2 of which are borderline into +SG & putting, he has been in strokes gained in 5 of his last 6.

We hope the best version of BH arrives; he has had 10-11 days off to regather himself & currently on betfair he is around $280. Another player I would try for much more above +$300.

If he can sink more putts than leaving a few out there which has been the case lately, he could have his best result in 2026.
