PGA The RSM Classic 2025 — Golf Picks, Tips & Analysis

Course

Sea Island Golf Club (Seaside Course);Sea Island Golf Club (Plantation Course)

Location

Sea Island, GA

Date

20 November 2025

2025-11-20

America/New_York

This week with the last PGA event of the FedEx players who are not yet exempt will have to go for it @ Sea Island where early favourite for the event, Harris English is a resident on St Simons Island.

As The RSM Classic wraps up the FedEx Cup Fall, awarding a two-year exemption, 500 FedEx Cup points, and invites to 2026 major tournaments. Top 70 players earn 2026 exemptions, with the top 50 also qualifying for all eight Signature Events. The last chance for 2026 membership is at PGA TOUR Q-School Final Stage (Dec. 11-14), where the top five finishers get cards. Plus, the leading 10 in the 2025 Race to Dubai Rankings not already exempt receive TOUR membership via the DP World Tour Top 10.

There is a lot at stake for those +100 in rankings currently.

We take a closer look at all 18 holes at the Sea Island Golf Club.

Sea Island GC, St Simons Island, Georgia, USA

Seaside Course-Days 1, 3 & 4 as Day 2 will be played on the Plantation course.

Hole 1 Par 4

Start with a dogleg left; aim just left of the post to avoid bunkers. Elevated green with a front-left bunker-missing short right makes par attainable.

Hole 2 Par 4

Drive over marsh toward centre, away from left bunker. Approach to cape green set into water right, protected by bunker. Lay up if out of position, as risk is high early in the round.

Hole 3 Par 3

Carry over sand to sloped green with left bunker. Safer play is right, leaving an uphill pitch.

Hole 4 Par 4

Dogleg left around marsh, drive at right bunker. Angled green with buffering bunker left, surrounded by tight mowing.

Hole 5 Par 4

Dogleg right around marsh, choose club to land in wide fairway or go driver. Deep green guarded by marsh and bunker. Good scoring chance.

Hole 6 Par 3

Short pitch over sandy waste to green with marsh behind, wrapped around a front bunker and divided into two lobes for precision.

Hole 7 Par 5

Marshside zig-zag hole; fade drive, draw layup between bunkers. Green perched behind waste. Birdie is possible with careful play.

Hole 8 Par 4

Short hole, less than driver needed over marsh. Green slopes toward you, behind a deep bunker right.

Hole 9 Par 4

Finishing hole with tee shot through chute, zigs around left bunker, water up right side. Green accessible but risks with water and bunker.

Hole 10 Par 4

Straight par 4; keep ball online to avoid hidden marsh right and fairway bunkers. Draw to left centre sets up approach to stepped green.

Hole 11 Par 4

Sand hazards both sides; drive between bunkers for fade second to small falling-off green, marsh nearby.

Hole 12 Par 3

Long par 3 with bare look and false front feeding missed shots into marsh. Centre carry required. Sloping green prone to three-putts.

Hole 13 Par 4

Dogleg left around marsh, drive at pole or tower avoiding sand and bunkers. Sprawling raised green with bunker front and marsh left; best chance for par is pitch and putt.

Hole 14 Par 4

Right-to-left drive avoids marsh, lands between right bunker and waste area. Elevated green without bunkers, surrounded by marsh and grass moat.

Hole 15 Par 5

Sharp dogleg left; drive to right centre, lay up through trees to narrowing landing near water. Raised tiered green behind two bunkers.

Hole 16 Par 4

Short hole needing precise tee and approach. Drive carries marsh/canal to strip near right bunker. Big hitters can reach close to green, which has a pitching approach.

Hole 17 Par 3

Blind shot to narrow angled green behind large bunkers. Shallow landing likely leads to chipping; par is solid.

Hole 18 Par 4

Finish with straight drive between bunkers. Long approach across water to green between bunkers, or layup and rely on putter for par.

The Seaside course is-

Par 70

7005 yards

Tees & Fairways- Platinum Paspalum and Tifway Bermuda-grass

Rough-Tifway Bermuda-grass, overseeded with a blend of perennial ryegrasses

Greens-TifEagle Bermuda-grass, overseeded with bentgrass and Poa trivialis

2 x Par 5s

12 x Par 4s

4 x Par 3s

The Plantation course is-

Par 72

Unlike last week where players were challenged with winds and rain the forecast looks good at the time of summary and players this week will need to have sharp accuracy off the tee and have thought about approach shots onto the greens.

Player skills suited in St Simons Island

  • Accuracy off the tee
  • Missing Bunkers & water
  • High Greens in Regulation %
  • High birdie conversion
  • Par 4 players
  • Putting will need to be on point

This week our 8 players have been good this year on both PGA & DPWT and most are ranked in the Top 100 OWGR & have been selected for their good T2G play and noted ball strikers.

It is the last official 2025 FedEx event but the PGA returns on December 4th for the HERO World Challenge.

The DPWT however reboots in Australia for its legs @ Royal QLD GC for the BMW Australian PGA Championships on the 27th November & the following week heads south to Royal Melbourne GC for the Crown Australian Open.

Then back to PGA for Grant Thornton Invitational in Florida on the 12th December & if you have not seen it a great mix of PGA & LPGA players combining as a mixed teams event.

So of course, lots of golf to keep us busy.

If you are looking at others to play then Top 20 markets beckon for Steven Fisk, Joel Dahmen, Jacob Bridgeman & a player I am following in Jackson Suber has been good right up until Bermuda last week but efforts @ Bank of Utah & WWT were very good.

I watched all 4 days in Bermuda & even the leaders hit buildings on a few 3rd Approach shots & that’s no bull, 2 players in a row did and they were Top 2 and 3 on Day 3.

One was lucky as it bounced back near the green the other not so lucky but it was Windy and some players including Victor Perez who did not even know what day it was, his normal APG play is good, not last week.

We will monitor all 4 days and if we see any Value I can send out as a Late Mail, that did not happen last week as I thought both our Japanese bolters had a big chance to Win.

A few of you previously would be aware that most of our players we back in Top 10 & 20 markets to cover the outlay, we do not result these only the actual selections as sent by email & MS which are logged for transparency.

It is easier to fund 8 players to Win with a set stake and most of you should have been up by +400% ROI with Miyu Yamashita winning and we had players Top 5 & Top 10, they were all provided to the Public and currently do not appear in Pro Golf Tipping results & profit, they will be resulted as the Public post verified the winners.

You can always reach out if you want to learn about staking and you can always back players over all 4 days at any time before Tee off, it’s a very valuable tool & why The Stig & MJ love Golf markets so much.

STAKING: At PGT, we apply a strict and consistent staking strategy to every tip we publish. All published results on our site are calculated on the basis of one (1) unit per tip, unless otherwise stated. The actual dollar value of a unit (if any) is determined by each individual — it may be for a no-value bet with a friend, or $5 or $50. Competitor Tip Type Odds Units Result Rationale
Si Woo Kim Win 30/1(+3000) 1.00 LOSS

Already exempt for PGA 2026 events and he was last seen in action @ DPWT Genesis Open where he finished T21 with 4 days play of 69, 71, 69, 71 for his -4, the winner won with -11.

At that event he has positives strokes gained ARG & OTT but Si Woo Kim is well known for being ranked high in his usual tradesman like T2G stats where throughout PGA 2025 he is currently ranked-

  • 7th x T2G: SG @ +1.084 strokes gained on Avg

This is a course that requires players to be good in all metrics & SWK currently has the stats to tell us he is ready to Win with-

Last 5 events all in + SG: Total ranging from +0.54 to a high of +1.98

  • Last 11 of 16 events all in +SG: OTT
  • Last 10 of 16 events all in +SG: APG with 3 events in less than -0.04 strokes
  • Last 15 of 16 events all in +SG: ARG

He is a player that is trending well with him now finding form at the right time as after 3 straight Cuts from July to early August he has bounced back with a flurry of good results in his last 5 straight being-

  • T14 @ PGA St Jude Championships with -8
  • T19 @ PGA BMW Championships Even par
  • T5 @ PGA/DPWT BMW with -15
  • T20 @ Baycurrent in Japan -8 (I liked his 64 on Day 2)
  • T21 @ DPWT Genesis Championships with -4

Unlike a few horses for courses he withdrew last year but I like his most recent form and even if we look deeper into his form on the DPWT many players who resulted below him just played in the final event in Europe the Championships last week.

He deserves to be around $30 on betfair as he is ranked in Top 20 in most SG metrics.

Brian Harman Win 32/1(+3200) 1.00 LOSS

The lefty who is a native of Georgia so he knows this course well & last year he had his best day on the final day 4 with a -6 to result in T25 with an overall -9.

We can honestly say he arrives in better form this time around as last year on the courses he was only ranked in-

  • 29th in SG: T2G
  • 30th in SG: OTT
  • 34th in SG: APG
  • 36th in SG: ARG
  • 26th in SG: PUT

We do know he is a better player than that and he has already won this year on PGA tour but he also has 4 x Top 10s & what I am looking for here this weekend is higher ranked players to prove they can get into the action after Day 3.

BH has made 20 Cuts in 23 events so far in 2025 and of the 20 cuts he made he has a 50% SR of making the Top 25 with 10 results in Top 25 so far.

After winning the Valero Texas Open he struggled at the Masters which many did but he surprised many with a T3 @ RBC Heritage with his 66, 69. 66, 69 to close out with a -14, the winner Justin Thomas had that course record 61 on Day 1 to blow everyone away but BH was only 3 shots adrift of the top prize.

On assessing his chances here this week I looked & compared him to another player we have chosen recently in a past winner here in Mackenzie Hughes, Hughes can also go low but he has this habit of then erasing that the following day, We have previously tipped Hughes & to be blunt have been disappointed in how he performed so I lean strongly in favour of a more consistent player in Harman who of late has-

  • 7 straight positive SG: Total
  • +60% in SG: OTT in last 25 events
  • +50% in SG: APG in last 25 events
  • +70% in SG: ARG in last 25 events
  • 19 of his last 25 events all in +SG: PUT

Apart from his Cut at the PGA Memorial in early June he has finishes in 14 events, he has been super consistent and now back home with his family he proves when home he plays his best golf.

Happy to take $32 on betfair and I would have BH as the Fav as English is the fav due to his residence on the island, his form not as consistent as Harman recently.

J.T. Poston Win 40/1(+4000) 1.00 LOSS

JT has been hovering around the outer of our Top 50 database as he has proven throughout 2025 for us anyway, he can be hard to predict when he does peak.

A very talented player around the greens when on song and when his putter gets going he has proven he can win and if it gets to a shoot out then he is our man.

Like Harman he has been consistent through 2025 with 21 Cuts made from 25 events but he differs a little bit to Harman in that JT did struggle in the middle of 2025 but has shown in his past 4 straight events he has turned -SG totals in other events around with 4 x straight +SG: PUT & this is when you know a player who ARG is his strongest skill set is starting to fire.

In fact he really is firing up with-

  • In all of 4 SG Metrics he has Positives strokes in 18 of 20 measured for 90% (rare)

Breakdown-

  • Last 4 events all +SG: Total
  • Last 4 events all +SG: OTT
  • 3 of 4 events all +SG: APG the other was -0.75 strokes lost @ Sanderson Farms
  • 3 of 4 events all +SG: ARG the other was -0.31strokes lost @ Wyndham
  • Last 4 events all +SG: PUT

He really does look ready to compete in Georgia & in 2024 @ RSM Classic he was T5 with a massive move on Day 4 with his -7 to finish with -14.

Important to note he was here in 2024-

  • 1st in SG: APG over all 4 days
  • 2nd in SG: T2G over all 4 days.

Somehow he is a slight drifting from $36 to now $40 on betfair, I suggest a wait as he may go out beyond that.

If he turns up like last year those strong SG metrics here are tough to go past.

Keith Mitchell Win 90/1(+9000) 1.00 LOSS

I have been paying close attention to Mitchell and when he is cool, pretty rare as most commentators have nick named him the "grumpiest player on PGA roster" & I have seen it at a few recent events where even when he nails a 25 foot Putt it is hard to crack a smile.

He does lose his cool rather quickly when things are not in his favour.

Honestly how many people would give away their day jobs to play golf every week of the year? Many I would say.

Regardless I think Keith if he can keep it all together can rally this week as he too is a drifter from opening around $80 and now $90 but his usual strengths are his known-

  • 15th in SG: OTT amongst all PGA players
  • 23rd in GIR @ 69.93% of greens hit (1007) from 1440 holes

It is important that Mitchell starts steady though and we have seen him go on little runs @ RBC Canadian Open, Genesis Scottish Open (great for first 2 days) & even @ Baycurrent in Japan with his 62 on Day 2 which did not receive much press as it should have but local golfer Takumi Kanaya shot that on Day 4 whilst Matty McCarty shot an incredible 60 on Day 4 as well, Micthell still carded a 63 on Day 4 which seemed to go left unnoticed, he still did card a 62 & 64 but unfortunately a 75 on day 1 & 73 on Day 3 left him with a more than credible -11 and a T10 result.

Also foot note day 1 & Day 3 were weather affected so if you go though 60% of the filed most did struggle some a little bit more than others.

So we are asking a lot for Mitchell to put it all together, he has always been capable &we only have to go back to his first event after the RSM Classic which was the Sony Open he went-

  • 13 of 15 +SG: Total with the 2 negative stokes lost being -0.26 & -0.09

Like many golfers if he can warm up he can maintain but again we need a steady start from Mitchell as he can play up there with most of the Top 50 on PGA Tour.

Currently ranked 83rd in FedEx fall & 75th in FedEx points he is safe for 2026 card.

He also boasts 30 x Top 10 results from 213 events for a 14% SR which you get the feel that could even be better.

A little surprised by his drift but on numerous recent PGA events he has started much lower around $40 to $50 so is Mitchell the value around $90 on betfair currently?

He had some really good results earlier in 2025.

Austin Eckroat Win 100/1(+10000) 1.00 LOSS

We tipped Austin as recently as at the Barracuda Championships in July & he was selected as he went his 1st round in Travelers Championships in 62 before 3 straight days of 71 but that -8 on Day 1 was against most of the Worlds best and he again came out blazing 2 weeks after @ John Deere Classic with a 1st day showing of 63, he showed improvement there however as he shot a 71 on Day 2 before steadier play saw him card a 67 & 68 for a T11 @ -15.

He did trend well there as he resulted in his last 3 events @ -5, -9 & -15.

His more recent results have me left to believe he is like Wyndham Clark, so much potential but they never realise it? Eckroat has 2 x Wins on PGA tour yet has been most out played by players well above +200 rankings in FedEx as maybe he feels he can skate but like all the golf we watch I feel there is something brewing as I have seen some very good putting from here which has you scratching your head, this week however despite being ranked 107th in FedEx & 118th in FedEx Fall points he is EXEMPT for 2026.

Hopefully we get to see the golf we know he can play as –

  • Top 50 in both SG: OTT & SG: APG
  • 6th in APG from above 275 yards (this could be key on Par 4s here)
  • 10 of last 12 events all +SG: APG
  • 9 of last 12 events all +SG: OTT

His Putting he generally can hold his own, he is not like Rico Hoey who gains +5 SG in all other SG metrics to then lose -2 shots in SG: PUT as an example.

  • 1st in SG: OTT @ 2024 RSM Classic
  • 16th in SG: T2G @ 2024 RSM Classic

So if he can play well in the metrics we know he can then improve a little on the greens then he is a great chance, Like Mitchell he needs to turn up and want to compete.

Eckroat opened @ $90 and now is $100 on betfair which based on his last 3 efforts should be at least +$140. He does however lure us Analysts in as advised earlier he can shoot low and this does have some better players turning up to spoil the hopes of those that have to perform to get a ride into 2026 (Top 100) which was 125 in 2024.

Probably the least Fav of all players chosen this week as he needs to play like he has won 2 x PGA events.

Byeong Hun An Win 110/1(+11000) 1.00 LOSS

If you go back and watch his Win in the 2009 US Amateur Open you would have though you were witnessing the best player to hit US soil from Republic of Korea.

Fast forward now 16 years on & since turning Pro shortly after in 2011 BYAN as I call him is still winless in 228 events, he does have 4 x International Wins to his credit & the latest was the 2024 DPWT Genesis Championships (co sanctioned with KPGA Tour).

I watched him @ the recent PGA Baycurrent in Japan and everyone forgot he was there but he finished for a T4 @ -14 and he really had solid days over all 4.

So I was super keen to see how he went @ DPWT Genesis 2 weeks later, well he never got out of Day 2 with terrible efforts & he was the polar opposite and his body language told the tale there, sometimes you can just tell it is not a players event so best to scratch and start over.

I am a big fan on BYAN  & I can still recall in rain & windy conditions when Brian Harman won The Open in 2023 @ Royal Liverpool GC, there was BYAN just hitting 6 & 7 irons with smooth follow through, it was beautiful to watch & for fans like myself we know he was once well known for his ball striking, he needs to re find but this event gives him that chance as it's a course that is a ball strikers paradise as placement is key.

So he arrives in Georgia around 4 weeks in between events & his current PGA ranking of 157th in SG: APG is not what we know he is capable of.

  • At Baycurrent he finished with 66 (-5) & 66 (-5) on final 2 days
  • 21st in SG: OTT with +1.825 strokes gained
  • 18th in SG: APG with +2.944 strokes gained (the old BYAN I know)
  • 18th in SG: ARG with +1.723 strokes gained
  • 19th in SG: PUT with +1.970 strokes gained
  • T3 in SG: Total with +8.461

He also hit 69.44% GIR and although I like +70% depending what course he was T17 overall and he only had 5 x Bogeys all weekend (Avg of only -1.25 per day).

If he can regain this form and he was better than okay from March to Mid-June and he did play well in 2 of the 4 Majors.

**I am ever so hopeful, but he is like so many that he just has to tack on to the main bunch of players as he tends to improve over 4 days generally speaking, he has to make the cut is the first hurdle (has made 18 of 26 in 2025 for a SR @ 70%)

His best brings 30 x Top 10s from 228 events & he really should have won a PGA event by now, note this event has something crazy like 10 of the last 13 have been 1st time PGA winners.

Would not shock me, on betfair he opened $85 & you can now get north of $110 so wait unlike myself which I will now top up. He is my instinctive play this week.

Stephan Jaeger Win 120/1(+12000) 1.00 LOSS

The German player has promised to Win but he owes us nothing with Top 10 & 20 results paying his way and even this week whilst sitting @ 60th in FedEx points he is safe, but he was EXEMPT anyway as he won in 2024 which sees him safe for 2 years on PGA tour.

So, Stephan really should be having an almighty go here with absolutely nothing to lose.

We selected him when T11 @ Bank of Utah which his effort should be more commendable as he has never been strong Off the Tee and he made ground on the greens and with his putting made +2 strokes gained on the field per day.

That is his go to-

  • 56th in SG: APG amongst all PGA players
  • 29th in SG: ARG amongst all PGA players
  • 38th in SG: PUT amongst all PGA players
  • +65% GIR although this has been as high as +80% in numerous events

So whilst he is not known for his strong Driving OTT he does not have to be here as Accuracy is well rewarded and you just do not have to hit as long but he is another and I do not mean to pick on Rico Hoey but Hoey is $36 and bookmakers keep rating him a chance, when unless he gets his Putter under control will he ever win one of these, his OTT & APG & even ARG play awesome and he actually sits in the Top 5 in SG: T2G which is amazing but his putter lets him down and even on his best days with the Long stick and he has even run hot he still cannot break through, there are players 4 to 5 x his price that should beat him home, he will figure somewhere as his Ball striking is superb, it is a shoot out this course so his putter needs to run extra hot.

I am just saying how I feel about Hoey and his very short under the odds for the last 4 or 5 weeks now, it is like if we rate him under $40 he will win eventually.

Jaeger to be somewhere in the mix this weekend & he opened @ $100 and is now $120 as I summarise on betfair, I am trying to get matched @ $200, I think that is closer to his fair odds.

Camilo Villegas Win 410/1(+41000) 1.00 LOSS

I know many who had him between $750 to $1000 to win last week in Bermuda.

He shot the lights out being ranked T1 in birdies with 22 birdies including 5 on Day 4, he did only get moving late but we had our own players @ +$100 & +$300 huge chances with 5 holes to go.

It was always going to be that kind of event & it went to $130 Adam Schenk who all but not made too many mistakes to a default win, they all their chance to go past him.

Now this Colombian I often will dabble when I get close to $1000 as he can often pull out blinders like he did in Bermuda but also a T7 @ The American Express in January 2025, that had some of the big guns from Top 10 in OWGR and he shot a 62 on Day 2 there which equalled JT Poston and his 62 on Day 1 as the best of the weekend.

So when he is in a mood this Colombian can fire them off, he is very hot & cold however hence his odds of $410 on betfair, he should be closer to $750 really but every Analyst & their dogs want to quote his 22 birdies last week.

Taking into account our $300 Japanese player last week was right in it until the final 5 holes, he paid well for Top 10 & 20 so you have to consider these long shots.

I cannot get matched @ +$500 currently on betfair which means he remains firm for the present time.

I was tuned into both DPWT last week and PGA Bermuda and Camillo looked a hope but it was much weaker than this field this week with a few of the better players returning.

You have to have a roughie and he fits that bill as exactly that but keep in mind he does also miss the Cuts in 50% of the events he has played in 2025 (13 of 26 events) he still has won 5 x PGA events overall and unlike a few here he has 2 x Top 10s.

You could prefer to play him in Top 20 markets which he is around $15 on betfair now. I would suggest at the price you have a small saver on Top 20 as that covers the whole weekend action.

Chris Kirk Win (Late Mail) 300/1(+30000) 1.00 LOSS

The Cut @ the RSM was brutal @ -7 but we still managed to get 5 of the 8 through for Day 3 and beyond & we had Brian Harman & Camilo Villegas just missing out with both @ -6.

Our Late Mail having his 1st start since the St Jude FedEx in August in which he was a good T9 going 68, 67, 66 & 70 for a -9 which was a 3 straight run of 2 x Top 10s & 1 x Top 20.

All 3 events were in better company than this and his T5 @ Wyndham the event before I like his consistency over all 4 days going 66, 65, 67, 68 but it is-

  • 4th x SG: ARG +4.021 strokes gained
  • 11th x SG: APG +4.346 strokes gained
  • 14th x SG: OTT +2.332 strokes gained

At all 3 events of note he actually had better than 75% GIR & sure his weakest skill is the Putter but his T2G had him sitting in the Top 10 at all of those 3 events.

We just need him to sit in Top 25 in SG: PUT over 2 days, I have watched him over the last 12 months & honestly like most players he can run hot with the Putter.

The Data we use is strongly pointing to a similar result here in Georgia as CK currently sits in-

  • 4th in SG: APG
  • 2nd in SG: T2G

Also I feel with his bogey free day (day 2) today and scoring -6 he is one of the players that can improve on Moving Day (Day 3).

I still do like our 3 players currently in reach sitting in the Top 20 & big moves likely from JT Poston (sees stats on the original selections sent out) and to a lesser degree one of the better Iron players on tour, Si Woo Kim with also long overdue Keith Mitchell can run hot, the key to Mitchell is him containing his frustrations.

The reason I am sending out CK is we went close when sending out Patrick Reed @ $100, we like value plus when a Player is trending how we like them to you just have to include.

His Win price this far out with 36 holes to go is too tempting along with the current Top 10 more likely to fade over the next 2 days, looking at his current Top 10 price is around $11 on betfair which is short and even shorter and of no value is his Top 2o @ $4.50 for a player quoted @ $300 on betfair at time of summary & $251 on bet365.

Risk to reward is key & favourable.
