The inaugural championship will be hosted at the famed Blue Monster at Trump National Doral as one of the eight Signature Events during the PGA TOUR’s 2026 season from Wednesday, April 29 through Sunday, May 3.

As the 5th Signature Event, the Cadillac Championship will play host to a limited-field featuring 72 players made up of top performers from the previous and current season, allowing TOUR members several different avenues to play their way into one of the TOUR’s biggest events.

The Cadillac Championship will mark the 56th playing of a PGA TOUR event at the Blue Monster having previously hosted the TOUR consecutively from 1962 to 2016. The legacy venue has seen fourteen World Golf Hall of Famers win 24 titles, including 82-time PGA TOUR winner Tiger Woods, who has four victories (2005, 2006, 2007, 2013) at the renowned venue.

MIAMI – Tournament officials announced today another contingent of the PGA TOUR’s biggest stars will tee it up at the inaugural Cadillac Championship, with current World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, eight-time TOUR winner Keegan Bradley, six-time TOUR winner Rickie Fowler, and 2015 FedEx Cup Champion Jordan Spieth officially committing to the field. The PGA TOUR returns to Trump National Doral’s famed Blue Monster from April 29 through May 3.

Set to make his first professional appearance at the famed Blue Monster, 20-time TOUR winner Scheffler has earned three top-10 finishes in six starts this season, including a victory at The American Express in his first start of the season (T3/WM Phoenix Open, T4/AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am). The 2024 FedEx Cup Champion has maintained his World No. 1 spot in the Official World Golf Rankings for over 150 consecutive weeks.

Bradley earned this eighth career TOUR victory at the 2025 Travelers Championship, where he defeated Tommy Fleetwood with birdie putt on the final hole to secure a one-shot win over the Englishman. The Vermont native has made four previous appearances at Trump National Doral’s Blue Monster in 2012 (8), 2013 (7), 2014 (50), and 2015 (38). The 39-year-old’s best finish in seven starts this season came at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (T29).

Six-time TOUR winner, Fowler will return to the Blue Monster where he made six prior starts (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016) with his best finishes being solo-eighth in both 2011 and 2016, respectively. This season, the California native has made seven starts, highlighted by one top-10 finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard (T9).

Thirteen-time TOUR winner and the 2015 FedExCup Champion, Spieth will return to the Blue Monster where he made three prior starts in 2014 (34), 2015 (17) and 2016 (17). The 32-year-old owns three top-12 finishes in seven starts this season (T12/The Genesis Invitational, T11/Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard, T11/Valspar Championship).

The 2026 Cadillac Championship will mark the 56th playing of a PGA TOUR event at the Blue Monster having previously hosted the TOUR consecutively from 1962 to 2016. The legacy venue has seen 14 World Golf Hall of Famers win 24 titles.

Measuring approximately 7,600 yards and playing to a par 72, the Blue Monster is a classic South Florida championship test originally designed by Dick Wilson (1962) and comprehensively renovated by architect Gil Hanse in 2014 to add strategy, drama and bite. Players face expansive but demanding driving corridors framed by deep bunkering, thick Bermuda rough and water hazards that influence decision-making throughout the round, with large, contoured Bermuda greens placing a premium on precise approach play.

The course’s famed finishing hole, the 473-yard par-4 18th, is among golf’s most intimidating closers, with water running the length of the left side and an exacting approach into a narrow, well-guarded green.

STAKING: At PGT, we apply a strict and consistent staking strategy to every tip we publish. All published results on our site are calculated on the basis of one (1) unit per tip, unless otherwise stated. The actual dollar value of a unit (if any) is determined by each individual — it may be for a no-value bet with a friend, or $5 or $50. Competitor Tip Type Odds Units Result Rationale
Scottie Scheffler Win 4.5/1(+450) 5.00 LOSS
  • 1st x SG: Total
  • 5th x SG: T2G
  • 5th x SG: OTT
  • 26th x Driving Accuracy @ 63.17%
  • 65th x SG: APG
  • 7th x Greens in Regulation @ 70.49%
  • 2nd x SG: ARG
  • 13th x SG: PUT

The Trump National course provides very long Par 5s and whilst accuracy not highly regarded like recent courses length off the tee will assist greatly.

Now SS is back in the right swing of it he will be lurking with stats like these-

  • 1st x Birdie Average @ 5.06 per round avg (tour avg @ 3.82)
  • 1st x Scoring average @ 69.301 (tour avg @ 71.394)
  • 1st x Bogey avoidance @ 10.07% (tour avg @ 15.46%)
  • 1st x Par 4 scoring @ 3.88 strokes
  • 3rd x Par 5 scoring @ 4.40 strokes (Jake Knapp is 1st @ 4.29)

With Par 4 & 5 scoring the highlight of this course players like SS who also make less bogeys than any other player on tour are in the prime position.

The players selected for this event are all good off the tee including driving distance and have proven putting when it counts for birdie conversions, players in our database like SWK have been left out this week despite SWK leading the tour in driving accuracy he only ranks 117th in putting, so despite his other great positive plays you still have to convert around the greens.

SS arrives rested and the form lines stack up strongly with Matthew Fitzpatrick winning 2 events in a row and SS was only just beaten in a playoff.

He will tee off with Cam Young in group 11, He deserves outright Favourite and has been very firm on betfair @ $4.50, because he looks hard to beat now, he has shaped better momentum than the odd run he had through 4 straight events the suggested 5 units to win only.

The whole Cadillac event will suggest 11 units in total which 5 are on Scheffler, we have room to move if we see any player trending as there is NO cut in this event.

Chris Gotterup Win 29/1(+2900) 1.00 LOSS
  • 14th x SG: Total
  • 9th x SG: T2G
  • 8th x SG: OTT
  • 131st x Driving Accuracy @ 54.73%
  • 31st x SG: APG

  • 71st x SG: PUT

At first glance you maybe concerned about CG and his driving accuracy, this is a course where that is not held at a premium, but distance is-

  • 4th x Driving distance @ 320.10

We saw @ PGA Sony Open in Hawaii where CG chased down the leaders with a red-hot putter on day 4 picking up

  • 5th x SG: PUT on day 4 with +2.834 strokes

We also saw it when successfully selected @ WM Phoenix Open where a similar effort saw him win his 2nd title in 2026, perhaps a 3rd seems unlikely but for The Stig & MJ we watch players very closely and CG is on an upward trend, this course will suit and he does sit-

  • 8th x par 5 scoring @ 4.45 strokes (579 total strokes/130 holes)

CG will tee off with what seems like the playoff replay with Hideki Matsuyama @ WM Phoenix Open in group 31, I like the pairing and he did open around $27 on betfair and is currently @ $29, I was discussing this with The Stig last night as he was $2 I do expect him to drift IMO.

If Scheffler has any weakness this weekend as it is still 72 holes then our selections are ready to swoop in.

Min Woo Lee Win 36/1(+3600) 1.00 LOSS
  • 12th x SG: Total
  • 10th x SG: T2G
  • 11th x SG: OTT
  • 51st x Driving Accuracy @ 61.65%
  • 50th x SG: APG
  • 86th x Greens in Regulation @ 65.36%
  • 27th x SG: ARG
  • 52nd x SG: PUT

One of our favourite Aussies on tour & MWL has started the 2026 season better than ever before with good results around very similar courses such as-

  • T6 x PGA Arnold Palmer Invitational with rounds of 69, 71, 68, 70 for -10
  • T3 x PGA Texas Children’s Open with rounds of 68, 63, 67, 67 for -15

Well, known as one of the more consistent long hitters off the tee he will bring that in spades here-

  • 12th x Driving Distance @ 316.10 yards
  • 16th x Driving Distance (All drives) @ 300.9 yards

We like the ALL DRIVES stat as unlike a few big hitters MWL can consistently find +300 yards which will matter on the extra-long par 5, 12th hole @ 667 yards.

The course this week can be describes as-

“The course features long, demanding par-4s, challenging water lobs & very fast Bermuda greens. The 18th hole a 473-yard par-4 with water all down the left side and guarding the green, ensuring a tight finish to this event”

There is 110 bunkers on this course! Bay Hill is a very similar course and MWL showed consistency over all 4 days with his T6.

It is the 5th signature event worth $20 Million; these are the ones you want to win.

After opening around $32 MWL has surprisingly drifted to $36 currently, he can win won of these signature events, his game on the up he just needs to stay composed but some of his recent media interviews shows us he is looking forward to this weekend.

Kurt Kitayama Win 48/1(+4800) 1.00 LOSS
  • 36th x SG: Total
  • 20th x SG: T2G
  • 55th x SG: OTT
  • 60th x Driving Accuracy @ 61.09%
  • 11th x SG: APG
  • 10th x Greens in Regulation @ 70.12%
  • 97th x SG: ARG
  • 118th x SG: PUT

We recently selected KK @ RBC Heritage & he was good right up until the final day, his 71 (even par) was looking bright over the first 9 holes including an eagle on the par 5, 5th hole he then went form -3 to the back 9 with a further 2 x birdies but erased that with 3 bogeys (on 14, 17, 18) which we have seen it too often players who make 3 to 4 bogeys on the back 9 is suicide.

His game right up until day 4 was good with 69, 65, 68 and his stats were looking good.

We highlighted his stats in full summary for the RBC so please if you want deeper stats then look on the website or previous emails to you.

Another player on tour who can hit long off the tee but can hit +300 with irons too-

  • 31st x Driving distance @ 311.30 yards
  • 18th x Driving distance (All drives) @ 300.10 yards

Again KK is another player we are not concerned regarding his around green & putting stats, if you go deep into the analysis PGT sent out his final day 4 @ PGA Genesis Invitational as he stormed for a T2, we highlighted the fact he putted incredibly well on poa annua greens, this week is fast Bermuda greens, amen!

We think more of CG & MWL but KK opened around $44 on betfair & please always look up bookies prices as sometimes on certain players you will be offered better odds, always check we just use betfair as the prices are far better when you go +$50 players and especially closer to +$100.

KK has drifted to $50 overnight before finding some support around $48 on betfair, I would think +$60 is a fairer price.

Gary Woodland Win 70/1(+7000) 1.00 LOSS

see previous stats as I only just realised GW was omitted from selections.

Around $70 on betfair is terrific overs form mine, should be no more than $50, apologies as just picked up the fact I had missed 1 unit on GW.

Rickie Fowler Win 100/1(+10000) 1.00 LOSS
  • 32nd x SG: Total
  • 60th x SG: T2G
  • 48th x SG: OTT
  • 19th x Driving Accuracy @ 63.90%
  • 55th x SG: APG
  • 44th x Greens in Regulation @ 67.19%
  • 122nd x SG: ARG
  • 16th x SG: PUT

RF had some very good stats leading into the PGA Arnold Palmer + PGA The Players Championships in early March on the back of 3 x T20s + 1 x T30 in the 4 previous events.

His game was off @ The Players Champs, and you could see it all over his face “did I really just hit it like that” it showed, he then went back-to-back events CUT which is not his usual consistent self which he had made 100% (6/6) prior.

It was great to see him find some of the form he is very capable of when bouncing back with-

  • T8 @ PGA RBC Heritage with rounds of 65, 69, 69, 70 for 273 (-11)

At the RBC his stats were exceeding the 122nd SG: ARG as we see for 2026 with improved showing of-

  • 10th x SG: APG @ +3.184 strokes gained
  • 21st x SG: ARG @ +1.881 strokes gained
  • T8 x GIR @ 65.82% (47/72)

Although not the biggest hitter off the tee if he can pick up even +1 stroke on the greens in putting each day his

  • 7th x Bogey avoidance @ 11.63% (67 bogeys/576 holes)

Can come into play, he needs to start hot though! Collecting Par's is not a bad thing around here either.

RF will tee off with Colin Morikawa in group 33 so with 72 players entered this week they will watch day 1 unfold all before them, by the time they get to the back 9 the greens maybe playing much faster than the earlier groups, this is where RF shines.

He had been building momentum previously so the CUTS obviously made him think about his game, he can keep that flowing here as his earlier 2026 form was rock solid & would often be well under $35, after opening around $85 on betfair on Monday night I am pleasantly surprised he has drifted to $100. The Stig & MJ deems this as value but of course we will push the envelope and try and get matched between $110 to $120.

Just confirming the total suggested spend is 11 units in total on this event with x 5 units on Scheffler + 1 unit on each other player, we have plenty of room to add 1 to 2 players if we need to coming into the final 18 holes.

Our last 2 events has resulted in a 3rd & 2nd last week which took a birdie on the 18th to prevent a 3 way playoff with the Norwegian team looking lethal with 3 x Eagles on day 4, normally that wins events so we both think we have the players this week to WIN!
