Course Overview

The Cognizant Classic is contested at PGA National Resort’s Champion Course in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida — home of the PGA of America’s headquarters. The course plays to approximately 7,100 yards at par 70 and is famous for its finishing stretch known as “The Bear Trap” — holes 15 through 17 — which demands precision into three demanding holes with significant water involvement. The Bermuda fairways and greens play firm in the February Florida sunshine.

What to Look For

The Bear Trap finishing holes have decided many tournaments here and demand both nerve and precise execution. Strong iron play into well-protected greens is essential, as is the ability to manage risk on holes where water threatens around the green complexes. Past champions include Erik van Rooyen, Seamus Power, and Daniel Berger.

STAKING: At PGT, we apply a strict and consistent staking strategy to every tip we publish. All published results on our site are calculated on the basis of one (1) unit per tip, unless otherwise stated. The actual dollar value of a unit (if any) is determined by each individual — it may be for a no-value bet with a friend, or $5 or $50. This methodology is for record-keeping and educational purposes only and is not a recommendation to bet or to bet in any particular way.

PGA Cognizant Classic
in The Palm Beaches
PGA National Resort
Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, USA
Friday the 28th to 3rd March, 2025.
Tee Off @ 10:45pm (Our time)

Now there is WIND expected & @ typing it is currently 12mph, no biggy but it is forecast to ramp up for those teeing off in the 2nd half of the draw on Day 1.

Look for players with good Course History.

Lowry has to be on your radar- Flordia is now his home state when in the US of A.

The last 3 editions of this event LOWRU has gone 2nd, T5 & T4 last year with a -13, you could argue he should have WON as he only went Par on Day 3, the winner ended up with a -17 to claim his 1 PGA event (Austin Eckroat).

LOWRY is 7 for 7 on this course, he has not missed a CUT and he has earned $$$ in each start.

YOU know me NOT abig fan of backing FAVS, I rarley do in Golf but he is the HORSES FOR COURSES so you know he will be a factor somewhere.

Call him Insurance.

Comment (Short): The BIG Firmer 👊👊👊

This 30 yr old Colombian owes me nothing after I backed him @ Monster odds to win @ THE ZOZO Championships, I have not included him in my team over @ PGA as you only have 4 players +2 bench players.

He honestly has paid me that well I can back hivery event ofr 20 years and it costs me $0- same stake each event,in other words I got him between $200 to $270 that event.

He is NO STRANGER to winning, He has now won 2 x PGA events along with 2 x International Wins.

Unlike a few here that are noted fairway finders and lead the way in SG (Strokes gained approaching the een or even off the Tee, Nico is 19th overall in the whole PGA for putting.

I only backed him to Win yesterday so missed his chunky odds for Top 10 & Top 20.

After round 1 may revisit his place odds as they can blow hard as long as players are not more than 3 to 4 shots off the leaders.

So currently just on for the Win.

I actully backed him @ $110 yesterday so was completelshocked that he is now into $50.

With 8 x 1sts on PGA tour to date I KEEP BACKING BILLY, he has not paid a WIN for me but has filled the coffers well with Top 10s mainly.

It is a course that suits him, Back on BERMUDA grass his preferred & his whole carrer has 65 x Top 10 Finishes, thats 20% SR, pretty phenomenal.

He can challenge here, He is also a good $11 to Top 5 & $6.60 Top 10.

***Others players I have backed in WIN, Top 10 & Top 20-

Chris Kirk @ $160
Mackenzie Hughes @ $150
Andrew Putnam @ $210
Triston Lawrence @ $280- He will win soon on PGA as monster odds- he is an International star.

***All my GOLF IS ONLY backed via BETFAIR and all my Win bets are $100 = 1 unit.

***Only the 3 players as received by SMS & Email notifications will OFFICIALLY be resulted in all 3 markets.
