Course Overview
The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is one of the most iconic events on the PGA Tour, played across the Monterey Peninsula with professionals partnered with celebrity and corporate amateurs across three courses — Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course, and Monterey Peninsula Country Club — before the final round at Pebble Beach Golf Links. Pebble Beach plays to approximately 6,972 yards at par 72 along the cliffs of Stillwater Cove and has hosted six US Opens.
The greens at Pebble Beach average just 3,500 square feet — the smallest on Tour. Spyglass Hill plays through the Del Monte Forest and is the more demanding inland layout at over 7,000 yards at par 72. Coastal conditions make wind management critical throughout the week.
What to Look For
The tiny greens at Pebble Beach demand precise approach play, and putting on firm, undulating surfaces is at a premium. Weather can be a significant factor in late January. Past champions include Nick Taylor, Jordan Spieth, Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, and Jason Day.
